For Once In My Life

As Stevie Wonder put it, “For once in my life I have someone who needs me, someone I’ve needed so long. For once unafraid I can go where life leads me, Somehow I know I’ll be strong.” There is so much more that this song entails and that is what I want to focus on today. That subtleness of knowing where your life is going and the ease it brings with it. I feel strong in my knowing and steady in knowing that I am on the right path. I feel lucky to be me and have this opportunity we call life.

It’s not everyday you hear someone say that or truly mean it, but today I do. I have a family that loves me, two beautiful children, a career that I am proud of, lots of amazing friends and a guy I am happy to be with. I feel special and I feel loved and that is a good way to feel.

I feel that I can finally make decisions for me and my family and follow the path I was set to be on. For once in my life I truly know I am arriving. What a breath of fresh air to feel that way! Ahhhhh!!!! Take it in. The world is just as it should be.
