Who Am I Really?

No Doubt said it well in their song Underneath It All, “You’re really lovely underneath it all. You want to love me underneath it all. I’m really lucky underneath it all.” Hmm? What is underneath it all for you? Who are you when nobody’s watching? Who do you really want to be? If nothing in the whole world mattered, then what would you be doing? Who would you be with? Where would you be? What time of day would it be? Write it ALL out. Every little detail. Then you will truly know. Here’s mine:

It’s summer and I am in my backyard. It’s warm and the sun is shining down. I can feel the warmth on of the rays on my skin. I am watering the plants and picking mint directly from the plant. I hang the sheets to dry in the fresh, warm air and spray lavender essential oil on them. Ooh! I have an extra minute. Quick, go get on my suit and lay out for awhile while the sheets dry.
